For over 140 years, Security Insurance has been a locally owned business in the Fergus Falls community. We started as Lake & Lowry in 1876 and have since flourished under various ownership. In 1990, Paul and Ruth Lindholm sold the agency to Keven and Debbie Crabtree. Keven and Debbie's daughter, Kathryn, and her husband, Paul, purchased the business in 2016, continuing the tradition of remaining an independent locally owned agency. Keven and Debbie remain in the business, providing full financial consultation and investment services to clients.

Meet Our Team

Keven and Debbie Crabtree have over 40 years of experience in the insurance and financial industry. Keven has achieved the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary and Certified Insurance Counselor. Debbie brings 20 years of experience managing the business. Kathryn Vukonich, our owner and agent, graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2011 with a degree in Personal Finance. She has obtained her property and casualty license along with life and health. In 2021, she was voted best insurance agent in Otter Tail County. Our team includes Debi Foss, Amy Taylor, and Kara Quam, each bringing their unique skills and expertise to ensure outstanding customer service and competitive rates.
