Busch Insurance Agency, Inc. has been serving the insurance needs of individuals and businesses in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois for over four decades. Founded in 1981 as "Baker Insurance Agency, Inc." by Lee Baker, the agency began its journey on 55 E Main St. in Platteville, Wisconsin. Driven by a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and expertise in the insurance industry, Lee and his wife built a solid foundation for the agency. In 1993, Lee recognized early talent in one of his clients, Terry Busch, a promising college student. Recognizing the potential for a strong partnership, Lee invited Terry to join the agency, marking the beginning of a lasting legacy.

Terry enthusiastically embraced the opportunity, initially working part-time while completing his studies at UW-Platteville. Upon graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree, he transitioned to a full-time role as an agent. Driven by innovation, Terry spearheaded the introduction of the first computer system into the agency in 1995, laying the groundwork for their future technological advancements. This period of growth led to a new location at 50 Pioneer Rd. in Platteville to accommodate the expanding business. In 2001, Terry made the strategic decision to purchase the agency from Lee, ushering in a new chapter for Busch Insurance.

Further solidifying their commitment to independence and customer-centricity, the agency officially changed its name to "Busch Insurance Agency, Inc." in 2004. As the agency continued to thrive, it outgrew its space once again, necessitating a move to its current location at 147 Keystone Parkway in Platteville in 2012. Throughout its journey, Busch Insurance has cultivated a team of dedicated employees, loyal customers, and strong partnerships with leading insurance carriers. This unwavering dedication to excellence has earned them a reputation for providing comprehensive insurance solutions and personalized service.
