The Brehmer Agency is a family-owned and operated business that has been providing comprehensive insurance and risk management services to clients in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1980. With a strong foundation laid by generations of experience and a commitment to exceptional customer service, we have established ourselves as a leading provider of surety bonding, contractor/business insurance, and client-specific safety/loss control initiatives.

Our story began with Randy Brehmer, who started his bond career under the mentorship of his father, Bud Brehmer, at the age of 16. Bud was a well-respected bonding professional from the 1950s through the 1980s and instilled in Randy the values of hard work and impeccable customer service. After Bud's retirement, Randy decided to create his own service-driven bond agency, and thus the Brehmer Agency was born in 1980. The agency quickly gained a reputation for its integrity, diligence, and knowledge, growing into one of the largest preferred bonding agencies in Wisconsin.

Over the years, we have expanded our services to include a commercial insurance department that focuses exclusively on construction/contractor risks, as well as manufacturing, agribusiness, dealer operations, local trucking, and other industries. In 2005, we established a safety services division to help clients manage their own safety programs, train employees, oversee OSHA inspections, and handle other vital aspects of safety management.

Today, the Brehmer Agency is owned and operated by Jason Braatz, Chris Brehmer, and Terry Geszvain, who share a core belief that exceptional customer service is what sets us apart from our competition.
