Our Story

Since 1963, Crew Insurance Agency has been providing trusted insurance solutions to individuals and businesses in North Carolina. It all began with Kenneth H. Crew, a Marine Corps veteran who embarked on a journey in the insurance business. Driven by a strong work ethic and a commitment to serving his community, Kenneth established his agency in Buffalo, New York, before relocating to Wilmington, North Carolina in the 1970s. He found his true home in Holly Ridge and in the mid-1980s, opened his doors in this charming town. Today, the agency stands proudly in its beautiful new building in the heart of Holly Ridge, a testament to Kenneth's vision and the enduring legacy he built.

Driven by family, Kenneth's daughter Coral and son-in-law David continue his tradition of excellence. They took the reins of the family business in 2017, carrying forward their father's commitment to personalized service and dedicated support. The newest addition to the Crew family, Kenneth's granddaughter Claudia, joined the agency in 2016, bringing a fresh perspective and a deep understanding of their family's core values.
