With a strong foundation in Durango, Jay Short has been serving the community for decades. A Fort Lewis College graduate, Jay has built a reputable career as one of the most respected Health Insurance Brokers in town. Representing hundreds of individuals and dozens of group plans, Jay's business thrives on referrals. His expertise and dedication extend beyond the office as he actively engages in outdoor activities such as bike trails, river kayaking, and skiing during his free time.

*Merida Odiorne, Co-owner & Health Insurance Broker*

Born and raised in Durango, Merida Odiorne carries on the family tradition of excellence in the insurance industry. Merida graduated from Fort Lewis College with a double major in Spanish and Sustainable Development. After becoming licensed to sell Life and Health Insurance in 2005, she joined her father's agency. Merida is an active member of the community, an owner of the agency, and cherishes long-standing client relationships. During her free time, Merida enjoys the outdoors with her husband, Bruce, and their daughter Juniper.

A seasoned business owner and outdoor sports enthusiast, Forrest Jones brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Jay Short Insurance. Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Forrest moved to Durango in 1990. After falling in love with the community, he decided to call it home. Forrest is devoted to local charitable organizations, and his passion for the outdoors is reflected in his love of cycling, snow sports, whitewater, and wind sports.

Angie Dinger has been serving clients with insurance through the Colorado Marketplace. Additionally, she provides expert advice on Medicare Supplements and offers group insurance to companies throughout the area. Angie is a dedicated volunteer for local organizations and a leader for parents in the community who have children with special needs. In her spare time, she enjoys 4-wheel drive excursions and exploring Colorado with her family.
