Our story begins in 1911 when a group of 83 farmers in Pierce and McHenry counties formed the Farmers Mutual Storm Cyclone and Tornado Insurance Company in Bottineau, ND. Over the years, we have undergone several mergers and acquisitions, including the incorporation of Publishers' Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Devils Lake, ND in 1917 and the merger with Farmers Mutual Insurance Company of Rugby in 1969. Today, we are proud to be one of the largest and most respected insurance companies in North Dakota and South Dakota, serving over 25,000 policies.
