Our History and Mission

Our story began in 1976 when Bob Wilson purchased Wally Chesshire Agency in Shenandoah, Iowa. Over the years, our agency has expanded to offer a wide range of insurance services, including commercial, home and auto, crop and farm, life and health insurance. Our mission remains the same: to provide exceptional customer service, personal attention, and tailored insurance solutions to meet our clients' unique needs.

Our Team

Our team of experienced agents is dedicated to helping you navigate the complex world of insurance. Meet our agents:

• Brian Steinkuehler: Brian has been with the agency since 1996 and specializes in commercial insurance, as well as home, auto, and farm insurance. Brian is actively involved in the community, serving as a past Shenandoah Chamber Board President, Rotary Club member, and Greater Shenandoah Foundation Board member.
• Stephanie Osborn: Stephanie joined the agency in 2009 and oversees the accounting and payroll. She is also a member of the Shenandoah Chamber and Industry Association Board.
• Luke Ditmars: Luke has been with the agency since 2013 and specializes in home and auto insurance. He also manages our social media pages.
• Curtis Osborn: Curtis joined the agency in 2015 and focuses on farm, life, health, and long-term care insurance. He is a high school and middle school sports official and an E mentor.
• Ali McDonald: Ali joined the agency in 2020 and is a licensed agent. She also assists with payroll and accounting.
• Kaylee Mattes: Kaylee is our newest team member, who assists with customer service, clerical duties, and is studying for her insurance license.
