Our online benefits and claims service provides 24-hour access to the progress of your healthcare administration, allowing you to stay connected and informed about your benefits and claims.
Our Technology
Our web application provides a secure and convenient way to access your benefits and claims information. You can log on to our secure server to view the status of a benefit or claim, making it easy to stay on top of your healthcare administration. Additionally, our WEX Health Card provides flexible spending account access, allowing you to pay for qualified healthcare expenses without having to pay cash upfront.
Our History
In 1985, a group of employers and providers came together to discuss the need for quality medical services at predictable, affordable rates. This discussion evolved into a cooperative, community-based plan, which eventually became Northern Illinois Health Plan. Today, we are a privately held, for-profit subsidiary of FHN (formerly known as Freeport Health Network), governed by a 12-member board that includes six employer representatives.
