Our Story

Maine Coast Insurance Agency was founded in 2015 as an independent Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health Insurance Agency. Our team, led by Agent/Owner Lornie Smith, has been committed to providing customized solutions for individuals and businesses in the State of Maine and several other US states. We operate as "Insurance Pro's Inc" in other states served outside of Maine, including Florida, Massachusetts, and Nevada.

Our Life & Health division offers solutions for your life insurance, health insurance, and other related needs. We believe in utilizing state-of-the-art technology to help run our business and we also believe in developing strong relationships with our insureds and our industry partners by bringing that personal touch to the business that a lot of the larger agencies have gone away from.

Meet our team, led by Agent/Owner Lornie Smith. Lornie is passionate about helping others protect their families and their interests by finding the best solutions in the industry. He believes that our model of developing comprehensive relationships with our insureds is what separates us from the competition. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and loves getting outside for golf, hiking, biking, camping, and spending time around a firepit.
