Our knowledgeable staff boasts a combined 150 years of experience in insurance, industry, and hands-on trucking company management. Our History: A Legacy of Excellence

Farris Evans Insurance was founded in 1955 by Farris Evans, Sr., who had a background in the insurance industry dating back to his graduation from Vanderbilt Law School in 1949. After spending six years in training as an underwriter and field representative for the Home Insurance Company, Farris Evans, Sr. decided to establish his own insurance agency. His son, John Stanley Evans, joined the agency in 1983 after a two-year internship with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in Baltimore, Maryland. In January 2017, Chadwick Willoughby became president and gained an equity share, ensuring the future success of the agency and its partners.
