Our agency's history began when Peyton Hanks founded Hanks Insurance Agency in 1955. Under his ownership, the agency grew to become one of Galax's premier independent agencies. In 2019, Rickey and Melanie Stone purchased the agency and renamed it Galax Insurance. We are proud to have served the Galax community for over 65 years.
