Insurance Specialties, Inc. is a family-owned and operated brokerage agency that has been in operation for over 30 years. Our agency is focused on creating customized client solutions for individuals, families, and businesses across the Nation. We take pride in our exceptional service and our ability to meet the unique needs of each client.

Our Team

Our team is led by David Block, CLTC, and Andrea Penson Block, CSA. David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. After several years as an educator, he began a career as an agent with The New York Life Insurance Company. In 1992, David and his wife, Andrea, acquired Insurance Specialties, Inc. Andrea grew up in Lawrence, NY and is an Alumnae of Hofstra University.

Company History

Insurance Specialties, Inc. was established over 30 years ago with the goal of providing the finest service and products available. Our agency has grown and evolved over the years, but our core principles of integrity, service, and ingenuity have remained the same. We are dedicated to satisfying the objectives of all of our clients, and we achieve this by selecting our companies and making product recommendations based on a time-tested calculus of carrier strength, client needs/goals, and medical conditions, if any exist.
