Poor Customer Service
The author, Trista Mcclure, had a terrible experience with the company. She was trying to get health insurance through her work and was given wrong information about her deductible. She had to research and find the correct information herself online.
Miscommunication and Misinformation
The company also gave her a vision discount card that was supposed to work with her Delta dental plan. However, when she tried to use it at a participating provider, she was unable to because there was a better sale going on. This led her to conclude that "insurance is such a scam!"
