A Lion Never Loses Sleep Over the Opinion of Sheep
At The Richard M. Wesselt Initiative, we are dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve success in their personal and professional lives. Founded by Richard Wesselt, a visionary entrepreneur and thought leader, our organization is built on a solid foundation of five pillars: God, Family, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Philanthropy. With over three decades of experience in the financial services industry, Rich has successfully built a financial services practice ranking among the top 1% in the country. However, he believes that true success is not just about accumulating wealth, but also about using one's talents and resources to make a positive impact in the community.
Leadership Academy
Our flagship program, The Richard M. Wesselt Leadership Academy, is designed to impart the 12 steps of uncommon success to individuals aged 15-30. This exclusive program is held at Collegeville, PA, and features a rotating cast of community leaders who deliver insightful teachings, encouragement, and unique opportunities to participants. The academy focuses on the fundamental principles of success, including spiritual importance, work ethic, ideal schedule, W-2 vs. self-employment, positive mental attitude, communication skills, cordial and upbeat disposition, sequential thinking, the will to prepare to win, preparation, execution, disciplined savings habits, and the will to overcome obstacles. By embracing these principles, participants gain a profound understanding of what it takes to achieve success in their chosen fields.
Philanthropy
As a dedicated Catholic, Rich brings a robust foundation of faith to his philanthropic endeavors. The Wesselt Initiative is committed to extending assistance to individuals across various faiths and religions who are in need. Over the years, Rich has generously contributed over one million dollars to diverse organizations and aims to surpass this milestone through The Richard M. Wesselt Initiative. Currently, our efforts are focused on fundraising initiatives for several schools and alumni networks, including St. Francis of Assisi, Bishop Kenrick High School Alumni, Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, and the Phoenixville Women's Outreach. We are always vigilant for additional opportunities to bolster and uplift the community through philanthropic ventures.
Entrepreneurial Advantage
At The Richard M. Wesselt Initiative, we believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for creating positive change in the world. Our Entrepreneurial Advantage program helps individuals develop the skills, mindset, and network needed to succeed as entrepreneurs. Our 12-step program focuses on time vs. results, major sense of pride, the importance of "grit, " passion, freedom, and flexibility, control over one's future, loyalty scale, work-life balance, and the importance of synergies with like-minded individuals. By embracing these principles, entrepreneurs can overcome obstacles and achieve lasting success.

Five-Star Review
January Santa Romana left her previous job to take a break and focus on her finances. She had accrued $45K in debt and was struggling to make ends meet. Her sister introduced her to Rich Wesselt, a financial adviser with Wesselt Capital Group, who introduced her to the infinite banking method. This approach allowed her to take control of her finances and make progress towards paying off her debt.
One-Star Reviews
Kc John Morrione and Joseph both had negative experiences with Wesselt Capital Group. Morrione advises clients to check BrokerCheck by FINRA before dealing with the company. Joseph was unhappy with the company's investment strategy, feeling that they left his money idle in a down bond market and did not take advantage of opportunities in the stock market. He also felt that the company prioritized commissions over his financial well-being and advises others to avoid them.
