At CA Certified African American Insurance Roundtable (CA-CAIR), our mission is to engage, educate, and encourage the enrollment of African Americans and other underserved communities into appropriate health plans. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. Our team is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive outreach and education to help individuals understand the importance of health insurance and navigate the enrollment process.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to support the African American community in accessing quality healthcare. Our agents are available for speaking engagements, events, and festivals, providing education and outreach to underserved communities. We also provide resources and support to help individuals understand the benefits of health insurance, including financial protection, access to healthcare services, and community empowerment.

Why Culturally Sensitive Outreach Matters

Health disparities affect African Americans disproportionately, with higher rates of certain health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. Access to health insurance can help improve health outcomes and reduce these disparities. Historical injustices and systemic barriers to healthcare access have led to mistrust and skepticism within the African American community. Our culturally sensitive outreach initiatives aim to address these concerns, build trust, and encourage enrollment in health insurance programs.
