Mollie A. Fearing & Associates, Inc. is an independent insurance agency established on August 1, 1978. Our staff of five has a total of over 125 years of insurance experience in both personal and commercial lines. We are very knowledgeable in the insurance business and have kept ourselves in the forefront of our industry through technology. This allows us to have a nice size account base without losing that personal touch with each of our clients.

We take pride in servicing our client's accounts and making certain all claims are handled promptly. Our business emphasis is on service. We are reachable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through an emergency line that is checked every few hours. We are here to protect you, and our service sets us apart.

Our Services

We offer a variety of insurance services to protect you and your property. These include:

• Homeowners Policy: A broad form policy that covers sudden and accidental damages to your home and its contents.
• Dwelling Fire: For those property owners looking for a lower priced, less broad form protection, such as those owning rental properties.
• Excess Flood: If your home and contents are worth more than what the Federal Insurance plan covers, you can add more coverage with this policy.
• Liability Insurance: This coverage is essential and protects you if someone (other than a worker) is injured on your property due to your negligence.
• Wind & Hail Policy: Perfect for adding additional protection to our Homeowners Policy, the wind and hail policy covers - that's right - wind and hail damages. This policy is very beneficial in beach areas like the Outer Banks.
• Flood Insurance: Flood insurance covers against rising surface water, accumulative rain water, tidal waves and ocean or sound flooding: all perils that are common in beach areas.
• Theft Insurance: Unfortunately, property theft can happen, even when you least expect it. This policy covers items stolen from inside your home if it is broken into.
• Condo Policy: If you're a condo owner, or a renter, this policy will cover items that you are responsible for whether it be carpet, cabinets, fixtures, etc. or just your personal contents.

Holiday Hours

We understand the importance of family and friends during the holiday season. For this reason, our office will be closed starting Wednesday, November 26 and will reopen at 9am on Monday, December 2 for Thanksgiving. For Christmas, our office will be closed starting Saturday, December 21 and will reopen at 9am on Monday, January 6.
