Insurance Agents Alliance of Texas (IAAT) is a thriving organization dedicated to fostering the growth and success of independent insurance agencies across the state of Texas. Our journey began in 2002 as Central Texas Agents Alliance, a network of agents based in the Austin area. In 2004, we expanded our reach by acquiring the East Texas territory, and in 2010, we officially changed our name to Insurance Agents Alliance of Texas, Inc.

IAAT is proud to be a part of SIAA, the largest independent insurance agency alliance in North America. With over 48 Master Agencies nationwide, IAAT is one of four Master Agencies in Texas, giving us the leverage and resources to serve our member agencies effectively. We have over 50 Strategic Member Agents and have written over $180 million in premiums.

Our team is led by President and Shareholder, Rodney Watkins, who has been instrumental in driving the growth and development of IAAT. We are committed to helping our member agencies increase their independence, income, and value by providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.

Success Stories

At IAAT, we are proud of the success stories of our member agencies. For example, Buddy Marshall Insurance Agency joined IAAT in 2011 with just two employees. Today, they have grown to an office staff of six employees and have a new office location, becoming the premier independent agency in Mt. Pleasant, TX. Cole Hefner, a top 10 agent, joined IAAT in June of 2016 and now owns five separate agency locations. Rachel Perry, who had 20 years of insurance experience, started as a scratch agency in Nacogdoches, TX, in October of 2017. She is now a premier Independent Agent in her community with two full-time account managers working with her to serve her ever-growing clientele.
