Our History

In 1941, B. A. "Butch" Imming began selling life insurance in the evening, while working on his farm in Aviston, IL during the day. In 1945, Mr. Imming purchased the Kleine-Schomaker Insurance Agency in Carlyle, IL and renamed the business to Imming Insurance Agency. In 1976, Butch's youngest son, Dan, joined the agency. Dan purchased the agency in 1979. Butch retired in 1986. The agency that began with 1 employee has grown to 8 full-time employees. Once representing four insurance companies, we now represent 18 outstanding companies.
