We started Safety Group 524 in 1987, endorsed by Associated Transporters of NY Inc. Our program is designed to provide excellent coverage at the lowest cost possible. We do not have a minimum premium requirement to qualify, making our program accessible to small and medium-sized employers. NYSIF Safety Groups

A safety group is a loss-sensitive insurance program that enables employers in the same industry to pool their insurance premiums, with the goal of reducing the cost of workers' compensation insurance. Our NYSIF safety group operates on the same principle as an insurance carrier, spreading the risk from individual policyholders to the entire group, allowing for the return of part of the premiums as dividends. We encourage measures to prevent accidents and make the workplace safe, ensuring a stable and low-risk environment for our clients.

History of Safety Groups

Our oldest safety group dates back to 1923, and we have 25 safety groups that are at least 50 years old. We are committed to the long-term success of our safety groups and consistently offer upfront discounts and year-end dividends to group members based on group performance.
