Our Story

Our story began when Carl Ackley founded Carl Ackley Insurance Service in 1946 after returning from military service. He worked for Auto-Owners Insurance Company before venturing out on his own. Leonard Peters joined the agency in 1955, and in 1960, the agency became known as Ackley-Peters Insurance Service. Mark Haubert joined the agency in 1977, and in 1979, the agency became known as Ackley-Peters-Haubert Insurance Service, Inc. Rick Acker joined the agency in 2000 and became a partner in 2004.
