Crop Insurance

Our crop insurance plans are designed to protect your crops and revenue from natural disasters and other unforeseen events. We offer Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI), Revenue Protection (RP), and Yield Protection (YP) plans through Rain and Hail Insurance Services, Inc. These plans provide a yield guarantee based on the individual producer's APH and cover a wide range of natural disasters, including drought, excess moisture, cold and frost, wind, flood, and damage from insects and disease.

Revenue Protection (RP) offers comprehensive protection through a dollar guarantee. RP also provides prevented planting and replant protection. A projected price is used to calculate the premium, replant payments, and prevent planting payments. RP covers weather-related causes of loss, certain other unavoidable perils, and price fluctuations.

Livestock Insurance

Our livestock insurance, Livestock Risk Protection (LRP), provides protection against declining livestock prices if the price drops below the producer's selected coverage price. This plan is designed to help manage risk and protect your livestock investments.

PRF Rainfall Insurance

The Rainfall Index plan of insurance is a risk management tool to insure against a decline in an index value that is based on the long-term historical average precipitation for the grid and index interval. This plan can help you manage risk and protect your crops from weather-related events.

Rain & Hay Insurance
