Our History

DeKalb Farm Mutual Insurance Company was founded on March 18, 1878, by a group of spirited DeKalb County citizens who came together to share the risks of fire with one another. Since then, we have expanded our insurance coverage to include property in towns, on farms, and in rural areas. Despite the many changes that have taken place over the years, our commitment to our customers and our community has remained unchanged.

Our Team

At DeKalb Farm Mutual Insurance Company, we pride ourselves on our team of experienced agents and staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. Our agents are licensed property and casualty agents who are all from the DeKalb County area. Our adjuster, Secretary/Manager Mandy Capp and Agent Melissa Crager handle property insurance policies, while our agents handle liability insurance policies.
