Our History

Our story began in 2013, when Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett announced that Berkshire Hathaway was moving into commercial insurance in a substantial and everlasting way. With that proclamation, a strong and trustworthy insurance partner was born. Since then, we have grown steadily and strategically, fueled by our financial strength. We continue to expand into new geographies and product lines, regularly adding talented professionals who share our customer-first philosophy and the dual requirements of strong capabilities and exemplary character.
