Our Legacy

Since 1952, Hixon Insurance Agency, Inc. and Hixon Realty Company have been serving the community with dedication and expertise. Founded by John L. and Elizabeth Hixon in North Augusta, South Carolina, our agency began with a vision of providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our clients. Our roots run deep in this community, and we've been privileged to witness its growth and prosperity alongside our customers. As the agency flourished, their son, William M. (Bill) Hixon, joined the team in 1977, contributing his fresh perspective and passion for helping others. Bill's leadership shone brightly, leading to the incorporation of Hixon Insurance in 1986.

Tragedy struck in 1989 with the passing of John L. Hixon, but his legacy lived on. Bill seamlessly stepped into his father's shoes, becoming President of the corporation, while Elizabeth Hixon took on the role of Secretary-Treasurer, ensuring the smooth continuation of their family's legacy.
