Our History
Founded in 1958 by William G. Uhl, Sr., The Uhl Agency has grown into the largest locally owned independent insurance agency in the greater Dayton, Ohio area. With over 220 combined years of experience in the insurance industry, our team of 13 full-time employees, 11 of whom hold insurance licenses, has the knowledge and expertise to design world-class insurance programs tailored to your specific needs. Our agency's core values of integrity, respect, teamwork, and community have been the driving force behind our success for over six decades.
Our Approach
As a generalist insurance agency, we have the capability to write coverage for most any type of business or personal insurance need. However, we have a particular focus on providing insurance programs for financial institutions and are proud to write over 325 financial institutions across the country. Our agency is currently licensed to write insurance in 30 states, and we partner with insurance companies that offer comprehensive insurance products at a competitive rate, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible coverage.
