Our Story

Kelly Gross, our agency owner, has deep roots in the community. He was born and raised in Mitchell and has lived in the area since 1979. After graduating from Dakota Wesleyan University, Kelly worked in banking management and insurance sales, earning a reputation for providing outstanding customer service. He has served on several local boards and committees, including the Wesley Acres Foundation Board, the Kiwanis Club, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Logan Smith, our other agent, is a Mitchell native and has lived in the community his entire life. He graduated from Mitchell High School and went on to serve in the South Dakota National Guard, deploying to Afghanistan and Kuwait. After his military service, Logan attended Mitchell Technical Institute, where he earned an Associate's degree in architectural design and building construction. He is proud to call Mitchell home and is dedicated to helping his neighbors with their insurance needs.

Step into our office, and you'll notice the historic charm of the Branson Bank Building, built in 1916. This beautiful tan brick building features Mitchell's only gargoyles and a stunning 36-foot-wide stained glass transom window.
