Since 2008, SeniorHealthPro Corporation has been composed of an independent network of health insurance agencies, which operates across several states. We are not an insurance company. We are your information and connection point to several insurance providers available to you. Our agents are independent, just like you. They assess multiple policies from several insurance carriers, rather than being bound by the policies offered by a single company. Our recommendations are customized, just for you. Your agent will build you a coverage plan personalized for you and your budget.
Our History
In 2008, Juan Carlos Mendez and his wife Nohemi Mendez started a health insurance agency in Houston, TX. The agency started off with only 4 agents and 1 part-time receptionist. SeniorHealthPro was also first known as Senior Professional Group but later changed its name in 2013. Juan Carlos' vision was to help as many seniors as possible to give them a better understanding of Medicare and the benefits they could acquire. The motivation for Juan Carlos to help seniors came from helping his own parents, Lute and Roselia Mendez. As he helped and cared for his family, Juan Carlos likewise wanted other seniors to have the right guidance for important health and financial decisions. The local company continued expanding, welcoming more employees to the team, partnering with several insurance companies and adding more states to help in. SeniorHealthPro now has two office locations, one in Houston and one in Katy, TX and serves in more than 30 states!
About the Director
My name is Juan Carlos Mendez and I have resided in Sugar Land, Texas for more than 25 years. I have obtained the Life and Health license of Texas and of several other states of the American Union. I established the company SeniorHealthPro, which represents most Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage plans. I also have a CSA (Certify Senior Advisor) certification. With SeniorHealthPro, we have conducted many educational events in Texas over the years. We are currently being broadcast on radio in Houston and have been featured in several publications, including the Houston Business Journal.
Deceptive Practices and Negative Experiences
