Our Story

Our president, Anthony W. Ambush, has over 40 years of insurance and surety bond underwriting experience. With a well-earned track record and portfolio of satisfied loyal customers, Mr. Ambush has a deep understanding of the complex and ever-changing insurance landscape. Before establishing Ambush Associates, he held various underwriting positions at prominent insurance companies, including the Travelers Indemnity Company and Aetna Casualty & Surety Co. Mr. Ambush holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and accounting from Mt. Saint Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He is also a board member of the Metropolitan Washington Association of Independent Insurance Agents (MWAIIA) and a member of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, Inc. (IIABA).
