About Schomer Insurance

Our story began in 1963 when W.B. Schomer founded the Willie Schomer Agency, laying the groundwork for what would become Schomer Insurance. Over the years, our agency has evolved through a series of mergers and acquisitions, each chapter adding valuable experience and expertise to our team. In 1997, the combination of Farmers & Merchants Insurance Agency and Pioneer Company Insurance, both with deep roots in the community, culminated in the establishment of Schomer Insurance as a single, comprehensive agency.
